Reece has worked in the radio and television business for 15 years, the last 10 at KFBC and the Cowboy State News Network, previously serving as the Sports Director. Reece is one of the pre-game hosts on the Cowboy Sports Network football broadcasts, and has been the voice of the Wyoming Cowgirls Basketball team since 2001.  Reece has won numerous broadcasting awards, including the “Associated Press - Best Sports” for the past six years.  He and his wife Stephanie live in Cheyenne and have four children.

Keith Kelley made his way to Cheyenne and the Cowboy State News Network after  spending two years as a news/sports director in Chadron, Nebraska. Keith has a bachelor's degree from the school of journalism and broadcasting at Oklahoma State University. Keith has fully immersed himself into Wyoming's sports teams, and has begun cheering on the Cowboys with the "brown and gold" instead of the black and orange.  Keith and his wife Christina have two children.

A long-time broadcasting veteran, Mick returns to Wyoming for the second time in his career, and according to Mick, his last.  He has won numerous awards for his work in both radio and television over the years, including the Society of Professional Journalists award for best television play-by-play, while calling games for the University of Evansville in Indiana.  Mick is a 1982 graduate of Franklin College of Indiana where he lettered in both football and baseball.  He and his wife Starlene have been married nearly 20 years and have three children.  They live in Laramie.

JD Harris is a Nebraska native who has been in Wyoming for 16 years.  A broadcast veteran of 25+ years, JD has been at KFBC and the Cowboy State News Network for the past 9 years.  He has worked at stations in Nebraska, South Dakota, Ohio, Iowa and overseas in Armed Forces Radio while serving in the Air Force.  The father of 3, JD has two sons in the Military, Trevor, in the Army and an Iraq War Veteran, Matt in the Marine Corp in Virginia, and daughter Kailie a sophomore at the University of Wyoming.  He resides in Cheyenne with his wife, Laura.

 

Ty Stockton- The Great Outdoors

Ty is Editor of Wyoming Wildlife News and Associate Editor of Wyoming Wildlife magazine, both publications of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. His desire to be outdoors led him to a degree in zoology at the University of Wyoming.  An interest in writing took him to Colorado State University where he received a degree in journalism.  Ty lives in Cheyenne with his wife Amy and two sons.

Stu Pierson- Rodeo Report

Born in Cheyenne and raised near Buford, Stu worked on a ranch as a kid and came to love the western lifestyle.  He married his high school sweetheart, Jan, and lives north of Cheyenne with their four boys.  Stu is the Marketing Director for Corral West Ranchwear and on weekends and vacations, covers rodeos for TV and radio stations all over the country, including the Cowboy State News Network.  Stu is currently the co-host for “20X Rodeo High,” a weekly TV show on The Horse TV Channel. 

 

Jeff Obrecht- Fishing Report

Jeff Obrecht has served as an information officer for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department since 1986. He is a Lincoln, Neb. native with a bachelor’s degree in wildlife management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Obrecht also does color commentary of high school football game broadcasts for KFBC in Cheyenne.  He enjoys having his German long-haired pointer, Bella, lead him across the region in search of upland birds and waterfowl. He also relishes big game hunting and fishing, particularly for catfish. He and his wife of 31 years, Linda, reside in Cheyenne and have three grown sons.
